Jake has been singing & playing guitar most of his life. His songwriting is dynamic, incorporating elements of folk, blues & rock. He also enjoys playing the music of the Beatles. You will love his distinctive voice!

MJ draws influence from John Prine, Brandi Carlile, and Jewel. She is a self-taught guitar player with a powerful voice and stories to tell. Jake and MJ met at an open mic night in 2017 and decided to collaborate, adding depth to each other’s original music and playfulness to cover songs.

Tucker is a young boy who needs to go back in time to face a neighborhood bully. How do you go back in time? With a time traveling robot of course! Together Tucker and his robot discover the importance of friendship and the courage to face a bully.

Flourish is a playground for the mingling of arts and agriculture. It is an intensive program that encourages individual expression by nurturing the creative process from its seed of origin, an impulse or idea.

An intimate adaptation of Anton Chekhov's classic one-act comedic play, The Bear. 

The Brass Messengers are a Minneapolis street band playing mostly original music inspired by global sources.  The BMs formed from the annual rubble of of the Heart of the Beast Mayday Parade and Ceremony in Minneapolis.  The musical origins were found in the music of Africa, the Carribean and Balkans, but now the BMs play whatever works, throwing in a country song to the crying drinkers, a high speed polka or two for the midwest dancers, running in circles with the little ones, activating gatherings of our activist kin or a bit of Black Sabbath for the metal crowd.   But mostly, it is an original music that rises from the heart of the band that can only be described as a homegrown Minneapolis street music sound.

Nick Soden is an up and coming indie artist based in the Twin Cities. As a singer/songwriter, he conveys introspective, vulnerable themes to his audience through original music and impactful lyricism. His songs are a reflection of true life experiences that center around childhood, identity, and observations of a changing world. Although newer to the local scene, he has a vast array of performance experience within the realm of pageantry arts, including years of touring with drum corps international playing marimba.

Garrett Schreiber hails from Plainview Minnesota to bring you folk and americana classics as the fireflies emerge from the trees.

Portrait of the Artist as a Young Gay Man is the first episode of Patrick Scully’s autobiographical opus Somewhere Along the Rainbow. Mixing together stories of his personal life, his life as an artist and activist, and progress and setbacks in the world of LGBTQ rights, Scully begins the opus in high school in the 60’s, and takes us on a journey through his school and college years, into his early professional life in the arts. The first segment ends in 1980, having traversed the ups and downs of Scully’s coming out story, the victories and defeats of Minneapolis and St Paul passing laws protecting Lesbian, Gay and Trans rights, and Harvey Milk’s legacy in San Francisco.

If you were out and about in that era, it will bring back memories of those days, good and not so good. If this was all before your time, it promises an engaging history lesson that no school has yet taught.

This performance is recommended for a mature audience.
